I was only 18 when my parents learned I was pregnant. Instead of offering support, they told me to leave. I walked out with a single backpack, a baby on the way, and no idea how I would survive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They never called or checked on me. I had to build my life alone, working two jobs, attending night classes, and raising my son without their help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, I finally had a stable job, a modest home, and the peaceful life I had fought so hard to create. My son grew up surrounded by love, even though his grandparents were absent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, one morning, my doorbell rang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was my parents. Older now, they smiled as if nothing had happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
