During New York Fashion Week, she crossed paths with Donald Trump at a party.

Donald was immediately interested, but there was one problem: he had arrived with another woman.

Melania later explained that when he asked for her phone number, she refused because he was on a date. Instead, she asked him to give her his number.

She didn’t want to be just another woman he could call whenever he wanted.

Donald reportedly gave her several contact numbers, and Melania eventually decided to reach out. Their relationship developed, although they briefly separated in 2000 before reconciling.

In January 2005, they married in a lavish Florida ceremony attended by celebrities and prominent guests. A year later, they welcomed their son, Barron.

When Donald became president in 2017, Melania stepped into the role of First Lady, while continuing to keep much of her private life away from public attention.

Their relationship has often attracted public curiosity, but its beginning remains memorable for one simple reason: Melania didn’t give Donald her number that night. She made him give her his.

The woman who once considered him completely out of the question eventually became his wife and the First Lady of the United States.

Melania Trump Refused to Give Donald Trump Her Phone Number When They First Met—And Her Reason Was Unexpected In 1998, Melania was pursuing a modeling career in…

[1

post-11155","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
