In 2023, a <strong>Manhattan jury awarded Carroll $5 million<\/strong>, finding Trump responsible for battery and defamation. An appeals court upheld that verdict in late 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump\u2019s legal team argues that Carroll\u2019s claims are unfounded, citing the lack of physical evidence, eyewitnesses, or a police report. Meanwhile, supporters of Carroll have praised her determination, noting she successfully pursued a high-profile case against a former president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Supreme Court has <strong>not yet decided<\/strong> whether it will take up the appeal.
