I left my six-year-old son near the entrance of the supermarket, holding the takeout bags from a restaurant while I waited in line at the checkout.

Suddenly, he shouted that a woman had taken the bags. I rushed outside and saw her walking away as if nothing had happened.

When I caught up to her, she calmly insisted that the bags were hers. Without arguing further, I simply took them back and walked away.
