The Company Connection
I was sitting in a hospital waiting room while my wife was in labor when a nurse came out and congratulated the man beside me.
“Congratulations, sir! You’re the proud father of twins!”
The man smiled proudly.
“That’s incredible! I work for the Doublemint Chewing Gum Company.”
He happily followed the nurse to see his wife.
About an hour later, the nurse returned.
“Mr. Smith’s wife has just delivered triplets!”
Mr. Smith jumped up.
“Well, that makes sense! I work for 3M!”
The man sitting next to me suddenly grabbed his coat and hurried toward the exit.
“Why are you leaving?” I asked.
He looked terrified.
“I think I need some fresh air.”
Then he added, “I work for 7-UP.”
Five Wives
A couple in their forties adored their three children. Their two older children had already grown up, while their youngest was still only ten.
One evening, while putting their son to bed, they asked him what he wanted to be when he was older.
“I want five wives,” he announced.
His mother raised an eyebrow.
“Five? Why?”
“One can cook, one can sing, and another can give me baths.”
“And what about the fourth?” Mom asked.
“She can put me to sleep.”
His mother smiled emotionally.
“And who will you sleep with?”
“You, Mom.”
Her eyes filled with tears.
“God bless you, sweetheart!”
Then she asked, “And who will sleep with your five wives?”
The boy immediately answered:
“Daddy.”
Dad’s eyes filled with tears too.
“God bless you, son!”
The Alcatraz Tickets
A family with three energetic children stood in line at San Francisco’s Pier 41 waiting to buy tickets for a trip to Alcatraz.
The children were restless, complaining, and constantly bothering each other. Their exhausted parents repeatedly tried to calm them down.
Eventually, they reached the ticket counter.
The father took a deep breath.
“Five tickets, please.”
The clerk asked, “Round trip?”
The father looked at his children for a moment before replying:
“Two round trip. Three one way.”
Grandpa Wasn’t Really Lost
A police officer brought Grandpa Morris home after finding him wandering around a park.
The officer explained to Grandma Bessie, “Your husband said he got lost and couldn’t find his way home.”
Grandma stared at her husband.
“Lost? You’ve been going to that park for thirty years! How could you possibly get lost now?”
Grandpa leaned toward her and whispered:
“I wasn’t lost. I was just too tired to walk home.”
The Ducks Go to the Beach
A police officer stopped an elderly man whose pickup truck was overflowing with ducks.
“Sir, you can’t drive around town with all these ducks. Take them to the zoo immediately.”
The man agreed and drove away.
The following day, the same officer spotted the truck again. It was still packed with ducks—but now every duck was wearing sunglasses.
The officer pulled him over.
“I told you to take these ducks to the zoo!”
The old man smiled.
“I did. But now they want to go to the beach!”
Three Beers for Three Brothers
A cowboy from Texas walked into a Montana bar and ordered three beers.
He carried them to a corner and carefully took a sip from each one before returning to order another three.
The bartender eventually approached him.
“You know, beer gets warm and flat pretty quickly. Wouldn’t it taste better if you ordered them one at a time?”
The cowboy smiled.
“I’ve got two brothers. One lives in Arizona and the other in Colorado. When we left Texas, we promised that whenever one of us drinks, we’d have a beer for each brother too.”
The bartender thought it was a touching tradition and left him alone.
The cowboy became a regular, always ordering three beers.
One evening, however, he came in and ordered only two.
The bar became unusually quiet.
The bartender approached him carefully.
“I’m very sorry for your loss.”
The cowboy looked confused before bursting out laughing.
“No one’s died! My wife and I joined the Baptist Church, so I gave up drinking. My brothers haven’t.”
The Cowboy and the Three Wishes
An old cowboy had been wandering through the desert for days without water when he spotted something sticking out of the sand.
He crawled toward it and discovered an old briefcase.
When he opened it, a genie appeared.
But instead of a magical-looking genie, she was dressed like an Australian tax official, complete with a calculator and an official badge.
“You have three wishes,” she announced.
The cowboy looked suspicious.
“I’m not trusting a tax auditor genie.”
“What have you got to lose?” she replied.
The cowboy eventually agreed.
“For my first wish, I want to be surrounded by food and water in a beautiful oasis.”
“Done!”
Suddenly, he was relaxing in a luxurious oasis filled with food and drinks.
“For my second wish, I want to become unbelievably wealthy.”
“Done!”
Treasure chests filled with gold and jewels instantly appeared around him.
“For your final wish, choose carefully,” said the genie.
The cowboy thought for a long time.
“Wherever I go, I want beautiful women to desire me.”
“Granted!”
In an instant, the cowboy was transformed into a tampon.
Moral: When the government gives you something, always look for the fine print.
How Much Money Did I Actually Have?
Here’s a tricky little riddle.
“I had $13. My mother gave me $10. My father gave me $30. My aunt and uncle gave me $100. I also had another $5.
How much money did I have?”
Most people immediately start adding all the numbers.
But the answer is $18.
Why?
Because the question asks how much money you had, not how much money you received.
You already had $13 and another $5.
So the answer is $18.
Sometimes the wording matters more than the numbers!
The Elderly Couple’s Confessions
Bert and Edna had been married for 55 years. One peaceful Sunday evening, they sat together on their porch.
Edna suddenly said, “Bert, we should make a bucket list.”
Bert laughed.
“I’m 87. My bucket list is mostly ‘wake up tomorrow and remember where I left my trousers.’”
Edna insisted.
“There’s still something you’ve always wanted to do.”
Bert thought for a moment.
“I’d love to go skydiving.”
Edna stared at him.
“Skydiving? The last time you bent down to tie your shoes, you nearly passed out!”
Bert shrugged.
“Then I’ll just haunt the neighbor if I land in his garden.”
They laughed.
Edna then said, “I’ve got something I’ve always wanted to confess.”
Bert became nervous.
She reminded him of his favorite recliner, which had leaned to one side for twenty years.
“You blamed the dog,” she said.
Bert nodded.
“Well, I was responsible. I shoved a spatula underneath it after you spilled grape soda on my curtains.”
Bert stared at her.
“You did that?”
Edna laughed.
“And remember how the television remote always mysteriously switched to the Hallmark Channel?”
“You said the TV was haunted!”
“I put a penny in the battery compartment.”
Bert was speechless.
Then he smiled.
“I have a confession too. Remember all those fishing trips I took every Saturday?”
Edna narrowed her eyes.
“You never went fishing.”
“Exactly. I was at the bowling alley. I won four trophies.”
Edna gasped.
“So that’s why I accidentally threw a fake trophy out of the car window!”
They both burst out laughing.
From then on, they went bowling together every Saturday—mostly to keep an eye on each other.
Heaven’s Free Buffet
An elderly couple who had been married for nearly sixty years died in a car accident and arrived at Heaven’s gates.
St. Peter welcomed them and showed them their beautiful mansion.
The husband looked amazed.
“How much does all this cost?”
“Nothing,” St. Peter replied. “You’re in Heaven.”
Next came the golf course.
It was better than any course they had ever seen.
“And the green fees?” the husband asked.
“Free.”
Then St. Peter showed them an enormous restaurant filled with every imaginable luxury food.
“Wagyu, lobster, desserts—you can eat whatever you want.”
The husband finally asked:
“Do you have anything low-fat and low-cholesterol?”
St. Peter laughed.
“You’re in Heaven! Eat whatever you like. You’ll never gain weight or become sick.”
The husband suddenly became furious.
“This is all your fault!”
His wife looked confused.
“What did I do?”
“If you hadn’t forced me to eat bran muffins and follow that awful diet, we could have been here ten years ago!”
Johnny’s Math Problem
Johnny failed his mathematics test.
His father asked, “Why did you fail?”
Johnny explained:
“On Monday, the teacher said 3 + 5 = 8.”
“Okay…”
“On Tuesday, she said 4 + 4 = 8.”
“And?”
“Then Wednesday she said 6 + 2 = 8.”
Johnny shook his head.
“If the teacher keeps changing the numbers, how am I supposed to know which answer is correct?”
The Escape Key
Benjamin was serving a long prison sentence for bank robbery when he inherited a large sum of money from his uncle.
The warden asked whether there was anything he wanted to purchase.
Benjamin said he wanted a computer.
A few weeks later, the warden checked on him and found the computer smashed into pieces.
“What happened?” he asked.
Benjamin explained that the computer couldn’t perform the simplest task.
“What task?” the warden asked.
Benjamin pointed at the keyboard.
“I pressed the Escape key over and over, but I’m still here!”
Business Is Business
A teacher offered two dollars to the student who could name the most famous man who ever lived.
An Irish student answered, “St. Patrick.”
Wrong.
A French student guessed Napoleon.
Wrong again.
Finally, a Jewish student answered, “Jesus Christ.”
“Correct!” said the teacher.
As she handed him the money, she asked:
“I was surprised you said Jesus, considering you’re Jewish.”
The boy smiled.
“In my heart, I knew it was Moses. But business is business.”

A wealthy woman was talking with a poor but honest man who had feelings for her.
He finally asked:
“You’re very rich, aren’t you?”
“Yes,” she said. “I’m worth $1.25 million.”
He sighed.
“And I’m poor.”
“Will you marry me?”
“No.”
He nodded.
“I thought you’d say no.”
“Then why did you ask?”
He smiled.
“I just wanted to know what it feels like to lose $1.25 million.”
The Magic Desk
Stanley wanted a new desk and spotted an antique one he liked.
“How much?” he asked.
“$5,000,” said the shopkeeper.
“For an old desk?!”
“Oh, but it’s magical.”
The shopkeeper asked the desk:
“How much money do I have in my pocket?”
The desk tapped its leg four times.
The shopkeeper checked his pocket.
“Four dollars.”
Stanley was impressed.
“Okay, how much money does my wife have in her bank account?”
The desk suddenly began banging all four legs wildly for several minutes.
Stanley stared at it.
“Wow. Where did she get all that money?”
Suddenly, the desk’s drawers flew open and its legs slid apart.
The Texan and the Kangaroos
A Texan farmer visiting Australia met a local farmer.
The Australian proudly showed him his enormous wheat fields.
The Texan immediately said:
“Our fields back home are at least twice as big.”
Then the Australian showed him his cattle.
The Texan responded:
“Our longhorns are twice that size.”
The conversation became awkward until the Texan spotted a group of kangaroos hopping across the field.
“What are those?” he asked.
The Australian looked at him in disbelief.
“Don’t you have grasshoppers in Texas?”
Feeding the Pigs
A government inspector visited a pig farmer.
“What do you feed your pigs?”
“Whatever scraps I have left over.”
The inspector was horrified.
“That is animal cruelty! Here’s a $10,000 fine.”
The next day, another official arrived.
“What do you feed your pigs?”
“Only the finest foods—caviar, gourmet cheese, fresh salads…”
The official was horrified.
“That diet is far too rich! Here’s another $10,000 fine.”
On the third day, another inspector arrived.
“What do you feed your pigs?”
The farmer sighed.
“I give each pig twenty dollars and let them buy whatever they want.”
The Beggar’s Smart Response
A man gave a beggar $2 every day for an entire year.
Eventually, he reduced it to $1.50.
Another year passed, and the amount dropped to $1.
The beggar finally asked:
“Why have you reduced my money?”
The man explained:
“My oldest son started college, so I had to cut expenses. Then my daughter started university, so I had to reduce it again.”
“How many children do you have?” asked the beggar.
“Four.”
The beggar shook his head.
“I hope you don’t plan on educating all four of them at my expense!”
The Two London Beggars
Two beggars in London worked equally long hours.
Habib earned only a few pounds each day.
Ali, meanwhile, came home with a suitcase full of £10 notes, drove a Mercedes, and owned his house outright.
Habib finally asked:
“How do you make so much more than me?”
Ali pointed at Habib’s sign.
“What does yours say?”
It read:
“Unemployed, married, with six children to support.”
Ali shook his head.
“That’s your problem.”
“What does yours say?”
Ali showed him his sign:
“I only need another £10 to move back home.”
The Body Swap
A husband complained that he worked all day while his wife stayed home.
“Lord,” he prayed, “let her experience what I go through.”
The next morning, his wish came true.
He woke up in his wife’s body.
He cooked breakfast, got the children ready, packed lunches, took them to school, collected dry cleaning, paid bills, went shopping, cleaned the house, cared for the pets, picked up the children, helped with homework, ironed clothes, prepared dinner, cleaned the kitchen, bathed the children, and finally collapsed into bed exhausted.
The next morning he prayed desperately:
“Lord, please change us back. I understand now!”
God replied:
“Of course. But you’ll have to wait nine months.”
The man froze.
“Why?”
“You became pregnant last night.”
The Seeing-Eye Chihuahua
Two friends wanted to enter a restaurant with their dogs.
The first man had a Doberman.
The bouncer said, “No pets.”
The man put on sunglasses.
“This is my seeing-eye dog.”
“A Doberman?”
“Yes. They’re excellent.”
The bouncer reluctantly let him in.
The second man decided to try the same trick with his Chihuahua.
He put on sunglasses.
“This is my seeing-eye dog.”
The bouncer stared at the tiny Chihuahua.
“A Chihuahua?”
The man sighed.
“A Chihuahua? They gave me a Chihuahua?”
Call Mom
A customer accidentally left his phone at a store.
The shopkeeper looked through the contacts and saw one labeled Mom.
He called it.
“Hello?” the mother answered.

A few minutes later, the phone rang.
It was Mom.
“Martin,” she said, “you left your phone at the convenience store.”
The Last Night
A man sat at a bar drinking vodka and Coke.
After several drinks, the bartender asked:
“Is everything okay?”
The man sighed.
“My wife and I had a huge argument. She told me she won’t speak to me for an entire month.”
The bartender said:
“That’s terrible. Maybe you should stop drinking and go home before things get worse.”
The man shook his head.
“You don’t understand.”
“What don’t I understand?”
The man took another sip.
“This is the last night.”
The Oil Dipstick
A woman stopped at a gas station and checked under the hood.

“This one isn’t long enough to reach the oil.”
The Flight With One Engine Left
Two women were flying to Miami when the captain announced:
“One engine has failed. We’ll arrive an hour late, but don’t worry—we still have three engines.”
Later, another engine failed.
“Don’t worry. We still have two engines, but we’ll be two hours late.”
Eventually, a third engine failed.
“Don’t worry. We still have one engine, although we’ll arrive three hours late.”
One woman turned to the other.
“If that last engine fails, we’ll be up here all day!”
The Intestines
A man loved smoking and drinking despite his wife’s warnings.
She told him:
“If you keep this up, one day your intestines will fall out.”
He laughed at her.
Determined to prove her point, she bought some fake intestines and placed them inside his underwear while he slept.
When he woke up, he screamed.
Later, he came downstairs looking terrified.
“You were right!” he shouted. “My intestines really did fall out!”
His wife acted shocked.
“But don’t worry,” he continued. “I eventually managed to put them back.”
How Old Do I Look?
Michael’s wife bought expensive cosmetics that promised to make her look younger.
After spending ages in front of the mirror, she asked:
“Darling, if you didn’t know me, how old would you guess I am?”
Michael examined her carefully.
“Your skin looks twenty. Your hair looks eighteen. Your figure looks twenty-five.”
She smiled proudly.
“You’re such a flatterer!”
“Wait,” he said. “I haven’t added them together yet.”
The English Test
An angry father stormed into the principal’s office.
“Why did you give my son Winslow a zero on his English exam?”
The teacher explained:
“He submitted a completely blank paper.”
The father shouted:
“You could have given him something!”
The teacher replied:
“I couldn’t. There wasn’t a single answer on it.”
The father thought for a moment.
“You could have at least given him an A for neatness!”
Machine and Bottle

The boy smiled.
“Yes, ma’am.”
She looked suspiciously at him.
He quickly explained:
“The last time I returned a purse, the woman didn’t have any smaller bills for a reward.”

On his first day at a huge company, a trainee confidently picked up the phone and called what he thought was the pantry.
“Bring me a coffee. Quickly!”
A furious voice answered:
“You idiot! You’ve dialed the wrong extension! Do you even know who you’re talking to?”
“No,” said the trainee.
“This is the CEO!”
The trainee paused.
Then he asked:
“And do you know who you’re talking to?”
The CEO hesitated.
“No. Who?”
The trainee smiled.
“Good.”
And hung up.
