Iran Denies Trump’s Claims as Inaccurate and Baseless

Tensions between the United States under Donald Trump and Iran remain elevated, even after a ceasefire was agreed on April 8. While missile fire has stopped and diplomatic discussions are ongoing, relations between the two sides continue to be strained.

Iran has criticized Trump for what it describes as misleading and inaccurate comments about the conflict, arguing that his statements distort the facts and unfairly shape public perception.

One of the main points of concern remains the Strait of Hormuz, where disruptions and partial restrictions have impacted tanker traffic and oil exports. Given its importance as a major global energy route, even limited interruptions have contributed to rising fuel prices.

Iranian officials have warned that continued pressure could result in stricter measures in the region, including tighter monitoring of vessels passing through the strait. Although some shipping activity has resumed, they stress that stability will depend on future political and security developments.

Overall, the situation remains fragile, with both sides holding firm positions despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.
