A taxi driver picks up a nun, but throughout the ride he keeps glancing at her through the rearview mirror.
Eventually, she notices and smiles kindly. “My son, is there something on your mind?”
He hesitates before replying, “I’m not sure how to say this… I hope I don’t offend you.”
She lets out a warm laugh. “At my age and with my calling, very little could surprise me anymore.”
Encouraged, he admits, “I’ve always had this fantasy… to kiss a nun.”
She goes quiet for a moment, then answers calmly, “That is only possible under certain conditions. You must be single… and you must be Catholic.”
His face lights up immediately. “Yes! I meet both conditions.”
She nods. “Then take the next turn into that alley.”
What follows seems like his long-awaited wish coming true… until moments later, he breaks down in tears.
Surprised, she asks gently, “Why are you crying?”
He admits through guilt, “I lied… I’m married… and I’m not Catholic.”
The nun looks at him for a moment, then responds with a calm smile…
