New Claims and Responses Bring Renewed Attention to Melania Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Discussions
A renewed public debate has emerged following new allegations involving First Lady Melania Trump and convicted financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The discussion intensified after a video shared on social media by former Brazilian model Amanda Ungaro challenged long-standing accounts of how Melania Trump and Donald Trump first met. In the video, Ungaro disputed previous statements made by businessman Paolo Zampolli, claiming that Epstein—not Zampolli—played a role in introducing the future couple.
Zampolli strongly denied the allegations, describing them as false and suggesting the video could have been manipulated. He also stated that legal advisors were reviewing the matter.
The controversy gained additional attention because Melania Trump had previously addressed rumors surrounding Epstein during a public statement at the White House. During those remarks, she firmly rejected claims linking her to Epstein’s activities and stated that she met Donald Trump at a social event in New York in 1998.
Melania also said that her first known encounter with Epstein occurred years later at an event attended alongside Donald Trump. She emphasized that she had no involvement in, knowledge of, or connection to Epstein’s criminal conduct and noted that her name has not appeared as a witness or participant in legal proceedings related to his crimes.
Reports have suggested that the timing of her statement may have coincided with online discussions and social media posts surrounding the allegations. However, no verified evidence has confirmed a direct connection between those posts and her decision to speak publicly.
The situation has also drawn attention because of the past relationship between Ungaro and Zampolli, whose highly publicized legal and personal disputes have generated additional media coverage. Both sides have made conflicting claims regarding events surrounding their separation and subsequent legal matters.
Meanwhile, advocacy groups representing Epstein survivors have continued to call for transparency, accountability, and a fact-based examination of all related issues. Some political figures have also indicated interest in further reviewing information connected to the broader Epstein case.
At present, the allegations involving Melania Trump remain disputed, with no publicly verified evidence presented to support the central claims. As discussions continue, the story remains a subject of debate among media outlets, political observers, and the public.
