The birth of my daughter should have been one of the happiest moments of my life. Instead, it became the beginning of a painful chapter I never imagined.
My husband, Alex, looked at our newborn and hesitated before asking a question that shattered my heart. Because our daughter had light-colored features, he questioned whether she was really his and insisted on a DNA test.
